Cookie Policy

The short version
Wildmore Labs currently publishes a single holding page. It sets no non-essential cookies of any kind: no analytics, no tracking, no advertising or social-media cookies. That means no cookie consent banner is shown, because there is nothing to ask your consent for yet. Vercel, our hosting provider, may set strictly-necessary technical cookies for load-balancing or security; these are outside our control and, where set, are exempt from consent under PECR (see below).
This policy also describes the fuller site we are building, including a contact form and, if enabled, Google Analytics 4 behind an analytics consent banner. A Manage cookie preferences panel is already available in the footer of this page and our other policy and product pages — you can open it now. The site's current production homepage is a minimal holding page while the fuller site is finished, and does not yet carry this control because it sets no cookies of any kind. There is currently nothing to change in the panel either way: analytics cookies are not set today and will not be set without your explicit consent once analytics goes live. We will update this page's "Last updated" date when that happens.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently. Similar technologies (such as local storage) are treated the same way in this policy.
The cookies we use
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website
to function or to keep it secure. Today, that includes technical cookies our
hosting provider (Vercel) may set for load-balancing or security, and the
wl_cookie_consent record itself — set the moment you save your
choices in the Manage cookie preferences panel, wherever that
panel is available. Only the two Google Analytics 4 rows below (_ga
and _ga_<container>) remain inactive: they apply once the
fuller site's optional analytics goes live, and are not set today. Full list:

We do not set: analytics cookies, advertising or retargeting cookies, social-media cookies, or any cross-site tracking identifiers.
The law — our legal basis
Under Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), consent is required before storing or accessing information on a user's device — except where the cookie is "strictly necessary" for a service the user has requested (Regulation 6(4)). Our essential cookies fall within that exemption. For analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4), we obtain your prior explicit consent via our cookie consent banner and preferences panel before setting any analytics cookies.
Managing cookies
You can manage your analytics cookie preferences at any time using the Manage cookie preferences link in the footer of this page and our other policy and product pages. The preferences panel allows you to enable or disable analytics (Google Analytics 4) while keeping essential cookies always active. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the site (such as the contact form) may not work correctly if you do.
Changes
We plan to introduce Google Analytics 4 when the fuller site launches. It will only run with your explicit consent, given through the cookie consent banner and preferences panel described above. The consent banner is not shown today, because no non-essential cookie is in use; the preferences panel, however, is already live in the footer of this page and our other policy and product pages — there is simply nothing to change in it until analytics goes live.
